Having slow connection and customer support service is just frustrating
Asked to go on an open plan then they put me into 12 month contract without consent. Then took me off the contract. I’m paying $85 for VDSL.. waited 2 months so far for fibre installation but still nothing

Drops out constantly and if you try to contact them it will take you 25mins plus to answer the phone! It will take 5 plus attempts for them to correct the problem, so prepare to spend over 1.5hours waiting on the phone, per problem.
30mins wait times
Technicians turn up without informing you.

Never even made it onto the service. Apparently they sent a text message asking for details of my old provider, but sent it to the wrong number (their mistake). They then cancelled my signup because I hadn't replied to them, however didn't notify me. I tried to call them several times to find out progress, and only after 6 weeks managed to get through to find out that they had cancelled my signup. Luckily by then it was what I wanted anyway, especially as I had then checked o ...read more

Customer service is quite lame. It took me 4 months to have fibre connected when I moved to a new house and they charged me while I had no Internet connection (got it refunded later on though)
Speed isn't that bad. They told us that my plan has been upgraded to 900 from 100mps but we couldn't tell the difference.
They ask me to contact the Ultra Fast Fiber myself and arrange all the installation etc. It was a disaster when I moved and tried to reconnect.

Was Ok, is scheduled to be connected a day later than requested..
Communication was almost perfect, until I received a confirmation text about when my account was to be activated.

My daughter was sent to Starship from BOP after I revived her with CPR, we were there for a couple of months and the bill fell behind, when I received a very harshly worded warning of suspension and termination notification, I called asked for an extra week to pay and they refused adding massive stress to my family. Sadly I found many others that had similar stories with MyRepublic. The company just doesn't care about its customers
Speed is reasonable
The company doesn't care about customers.
Today a customer service person told me that their call centre is now offshore and outsourced.

Super fast internet, didn't experience slowdowns. Great speedy service.
Accounts page sucks, can't really do anything like see usage and such
Always fast, didnt have any issues in the 2 years I was with them
Service is amazing, get to talk with support staff within 10 mins every time (which was only a few times, which was great)
Accounts page is terrible

The account page is kind of basic lack of features like most other providers

Started with these guys and could not speak highly enough of them.
Then something happened, they suspended my service because they couldn't take money from my card after they were advised by me a month earlier that I had changed my card.
I called and asked them to re-activate my service, which took 2 days and they sounded like it was too much of an effort.
I decided to change providers as it was clear that something had happened to this company affecting customer service.
