We were with Spark for many years and they were sufficient for our needs, although we knew we would pay less elsewhere. Shifting to a new house was a good time to change so we looked around and found (through your website) a much better deal with a MyRepublic offer.

Pros:

Good customer support. A company that has stood the test of time.

Cons:

A real tendency to obscure actual prices of their service through bundling things like Lightbox into the deal. However, they do seem to be more transparent recently. Excellent follow up when I made a complaint - I would recommend Spark for follow up service as you can reach them - they do talk and they fixed my problem - well done Spark especially Kate F

Worst service ever and the email (xtra) has no spam filters so there is no way to stop spam from infiltrating your email. I was hacked and Spark did nothing.
Service terrible, no resolution after months of issues.
Speed of internet also varies with number of people on line in the area, after school and on rainy days, it is dial up speed. Old wires, slow to provide fibre.

It is impossible to get customer service from spark.

Pros:

Market leader. Phone app to manage account

Absolutely close to impossible to get through to support. Then follow up is poor. When we had a major issue, getting anyone to be proactive and own the issue took a complaint to the telecommunication disputes resolutions service. Then I had a call within an hour ...read more
