would've been happy to stay with Spark, only reason for moving is that we were shifting house and ADSL wasn't available there so had to look at another plan.
There's so many plans out there to choose from, picked a speedier plan than Spark was advertising for a little less cost.
Thanks Spark its been a blast

After being a Spark Customer for nearly 30 years now, I was very disappointed when I was billed for my landline calls recently for no apparent reason and an extra charge of $5.00 was on top of that. After my query I was told that the free national landline calls were "a promotional add on" that I received at the beginning of my new contract which has now run out and the $5 was added for increased copper line maintenance cost. Fibre isn't available in my area yet. Although I k ...read more
Reputable Company with reasonably good service
Inflexible plans and far too expensive compared to other ISP
No landline deals available at the moment

Hopeless direct support. Appears from Skinny's pricing well overpriced.
Reliable and good website support.

Had been with Spark for 25yrs... No More... Never Again!!!
Now a happy new MyRepublic customer
Transferring across from Spark to MyRepublic for their Fast Fibre & phone line was extremely easy to organise and they were knowledgeable, personable, prompt and efficient . (Top Marks)
MyRepublic had an awesomely priced 12mth special joining offer that was just to good to ignore...
Don't put up with those Spark muppets 1 minute longer... Nike principle... Just do it.
... Ummmm
Still thinking on that one...
No, you got me stumped
Couldn't come up with even one Pro for them
It's official... Spark totally sucks
Their reliability totally sucks... lost broadband & phone connection for 2-days at a time 5 times in the last 2-years!!!
Their VDSL speed performance is pitiful and erratic... 26Mbps up... 2.5Mbps down
Overpriced... de ...read more

Lots of drop outs of late, got tired of previous "switch modem on & off"same with ONT.Asked Skinny if they could match speed ,price,Told "NO,we don't do that"so voted with my feet, connection, wallet.Shame, their retention team (if they have one} did not get involved,as sure it could have come to the party, plus fix drop outs eventually. But very competitive out there & seems Skinny did not need my business.Pass it on.
Started off ok...Skinny not mentioned in the providers? Is this because Spark are phasing them out,due to issues..or something else?
Did not finish well, believe their own hype, too many drop outs on wireless, not willing to match other competition,so goodbye till they can do better, then I maybe back.

I got a special 12 month deal for unlimited VDSL Naked Broadband for $54.99 per month with free lightbox and landline, and a $200 credit. That's why I gave 10/10 for value. But the price has gone up by $5 per month, my 12 months is coming to an end, and fibre is now available at my address, so I'm switching to another better value provider.
Great initial special offer, reliable service, speeds of ~27mbps down and ~2.5mbps up.
Too expensive now and there are better deals around. Speed issues when I first switched (not much better than ADSL, especially uploads) and customer support were not particularly helpful.

We were with Spark for many years and they were sufficient for our needs, although we knew we would pay less elsewhere. Shifting to a new house was a good time to change so we looked around and found (through your website) a much better deal with a MyRepublic offer.
Good customer support. A company that has stood the test of time.
A real tendency to obscure actual prices of their service through bundling things like Lightbox into the deal. However, they do seem to be more transparent recently. For years Spark abused their market leader status, and ...read more
