tvOS 12 has been announced. What is new?

tvOS 12 brings exciting new features for 2018 release:

- Support for 4K HDR content

- Support for Dolby Atmos

- Free upgrades on content to Dolby Atmos and 4K HDR

- Live news and live sports

- There’s a TV app for live TV channels. Only works with certain cable providers right now.

- Zero sign on - as long as you’re on your cable provider network, all ATV apps that you have a subscription to will be unlocked. (no need to sign in) (Only works with certain providers right now)

- New aerial galleries (Apple TV screensavers) from space.
